The garden terrace area overlooking the Solent has been expanded since I was last there and is now almost tripled in size. The food menu has also been expanded and is good value for money.

A big and busy inn. Plenty of well organised and motivated staff to provide for the visitors, ensuring a very comfortable and hassle free stay. The food is good and plentiful.
Another lovely day at the Ryedale Amazing location for a bus mad tourist like me 😀 near the beach also. Wonderful Guest House and owners, nothing too much trouble and all fine details/comforts thought of. Very comfortable stay. Nice veggie breakfast, allergens importantly considered
Excellent service, every single member of staff was friendly and keen to help. The hotel had just the right amount of Old World charm and a very pleasant ambience. Excellent Dinner and Breakfast. Very good car parking. Luke the barman was a font of local knowledge as well as an excellent barman!
An exceptional B&B.The bedroom was at the back of the property overlooking the garden which is one of the best and well kept gardens I have seen in a long time. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was excellent withh different changes every day.John and Ginny were lovely people and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to the Isle of Wight.
The breakfasts were good but it was an odd choice of having Duck on the menu for breakfast. We felt it was over fancy. Dinner was expensive for what we had. Once again some odd choices on the menu.
Lovely place to stay on the Isle of Wight beautiful setting local pub you can walk to for dinner everywhere else you would need a car rooms comfy breakfast is nice it’s continental so only cereal fruit yoghurt toast and lovely warm pastries plenty of it but no full English hosts are very friendly lots of information about where to go and what to do locally very close to the needles and freshwater bay
The location within the high street, they didn’t have any pasta for my friends daughter for dinner despite it being on the menu staff went over and above with this they popped to the shop to buy her some to cook for dinner.
Dave and Tiffany were lovely hosts to this wonderful establishment, serving great food and providing lovely rooms, the roast beef dinner on a Sunday is second to none, we'll reccomended.
Friendliness of the staff, good quality food. Presentation of the hotel, in general and a calmness about the property. A very welcoming atmosphere twinned with a quality of service.
Greeted by a friendly couple, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast and nice rooms. Local advice given, good bar. Having stayed at 10+ guest houses and B&B's on the isle of wight we would now make this our first choice. Home now and missing the place - close to Sandown so dinners and attractions within walking distance and ample parking. A++++++
